If you’re hanging around the house for a couple hours, this is a great way to make a simple ingredient fabulous. It’s very quick to prep and makes the house smell great too!
Thinly slice onions and garlic. Mix in melted butter, olive oil, salt, parsley and sugar.
Spread onion mixture onto two tin foil lined baking sheets. You will want the onions to have room to roast, if they are too crowded, they will not cook properly.
Roast for 2 hours at 200 degrees. Onions will be done when they are golden and crunchy. I like to put them on baked salmon or grilled chicken.
