These bars were a great substitution for pecan pie at Thanksgiving! If you want to take the “German Chocolate” route, you can add coconut but the husband doesn’t like it.

Banana Cream Pie
This pie is incredible and since bananas are full of potassium – it’s healthy! It was my first time making pastry cream which turned out really good. Next time I’ll try chocolate banana cream pie.
Pecan Pie Bars
Pecan pie is one of my dad’s favorite desserts so I decided to make these for father’s day. They were so delicious that I made them again the following week for a family reunion. They are buttery, nutty, and will quickly disappear.
