Hidden Kiss Cupcakes
These frosting on these cupcakes is smooth and fabulous (and semi-homemade). Each cupcake also has a hidden Hershey Kiss inside. Yum!

Ingredients
Cupcakes
  • 2 cups all purpose flour sifted
  • 1 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter room tempature
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 36 hershey kisses
Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix 3.5 ounces
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package thawed whipped topping 8 ounces

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix 3.5 ounces
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package thawed whipped topping 8 ounces

Instructions
Cupcake
  1. Preheat oven to 350*F. Line 18 cupcake tins with liners - set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add butter, milk, and vanilla. With a hand mixer, beat for 2 minutes, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  4. Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes more.
  5. Pour batter into prepared cupcake tins. Insert hershey kiss into center of each batter filled cupcake tin.
  6. Bake 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven. Cool completely prior to frosting.
Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  1. In a medium bowl, combine pudding mix with milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping until no streaks remain. Spread evenly over cupcakes. Top each with a Hershey Kiss and sprinkles if you'd like.
