- 2 cups all purpose flour sifted
- 1 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter room tempature
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 36 hershey kisses
Whipped Vanilla Frosting
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix 3.5 ounces
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package thawed whipped topping 8 ounces

Instructions

- Preheat oven to 350*F. Line 18 cupcake tins with liners - set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add butter, milk, and vanilla. With a hand mixer, beat for 2 minutes, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl.
- Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes more.
- Pour batter into prepared cupcake tins. Insert hershey kiss into center of each batter filled cupcake tin.
- Bake 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven. Cool completely prior to frosting.
Whipped Vanilla Frosting
- In a medium bowl, combine pudding mix with milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping until no streaks remain. Spread evenly over cupcakes. Top each with a Hershey Kiss and sprinkles if you'd like.
