Salted Chocolate Caramel Spread
I altered this recipe a bit from Real Simple Magazine. It makes a great gift and is super sweet! I packaged the spread up in mason jars with labels along with Shortbread Cutout Cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cup hot tap water
- 6 cups dulce de leche (don't both buying this, for an easy recipe Click Here. )
- 4 1/2 cups unsalted roasted almonds
- 2 1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 6 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the cocoa powder with the water until smooth.
- In a blender, combine the cocoa mixture, dulce de leche, almonds, oil, vanilla and salt and process on high until blended. This will take a couple minutes to ensure the almonds are fine and the mixture is smooth,
- Divide among jars.
